[ The feed snaps on with yours truly standing proudly in her custom-made Santa Claus outfit. Smiling widely, she gives a hearty wave. ]

Merry Chritmas to all! Io Saturnalia! It is a glorious time for my generosity to be shared among all you plebes! I have researched the reasons behind all this invigorating festivities and have learned that an entity called "Santa Claus" goes around the world to distribute presents. As an emperor, I commend this jolly old man for sneaking into the homes of others to give his gifts, but on the other hand, I cannot be outdone by him! Minerva herself would be pleased with my thorough observation.

[ She spreads her arms out in a grand gesture. ]

And so I have given choice people gifts of my own! I believe I deserve a word of thanks, of course, but I am more than happy to simply give out of the grand generosity of my own heart. Receive them all graciously. Add to that, I even had my retainer make a couple of pastries to sweeten the occasion.

[ Then she places a finger to her lips, thinks on her next choice of words, then shrugs. ]

What a wonder that such time has passed... Enough that, considering I was so focused upon my research, my own birthday has flown by! Were we in Rome, there would be parades and dances and parties praising my name, but I shall content myself with the masses of both Johto and Kanto. I have event set up a feast for both special events within the Breeding Center of Goldenrod that I extend an invitation to anyone who would be willing to join. I believe many would want to enjoy a good meal after that sorry attempt of sabotage with those cookies from days ago.

[ She sniffs imperiously, and gestures for the camera to show a large, well made and delicious cake... with thirty-one candles on it. Ahem. Then beams again, before waving. ]

Ah, that holiday. [ She swallows hard and tries to not think about how she spent her's the year prior. ] I was hoping to have it before so that lovers... were not conflicted between events.

[ Wow, you are so not subtle as you think you are, Arty. ]

What makes you say that? It is a day in which everyone is open and honest with themselves, but that should not stop the masses from displaying their affections on other days. They have other time.

I just do not think I am ready to think about love or mingling come February. I apologize on this matter.

Why do you apologize? I find that very suspicious, even if you tend to do so for trivial reasons.

Because February is when I lost the love of my life from this world.

[ Due to the stress she's already feeling, Saber can be blunt in her honesty. Realizing quickly after she's said too much, she attempts to make up for it by stammering out another apology. ]

Sorry, I should learn to mind my tongue when I am this upset.

[ Her eyes narrow at that, but not in a negative way. More like the words hit home, too. She doesn't avert her eyes, though, and merely clears her throat after a brief sigh. ]

Isn't the point of this subject to think of an incentive for breeders to mingle? Let us not dwell on old wounds. Besides, it is not as though the day could force everyone to bend to its customary needs.

[ There goes the sound of the mood dying. Woops. ]
