[ The feed opens up to the Gear bouncing along the ground. It slides to a stop, but from off the screen are the telltale sounds of a rambunctious Pokemon about, as well as a frustrated Saber sighing. Not long after, two Pokemon trod along the feed: ]

[ The Axew tilts his head and rubs as his tusks while the Deino chomps on air. Suddenly, there's a sound of clothing being ripped and a brief roar of flame soon follows. ]

You will learn discipline, bug- [ Saber's voice is nothing short of threatening, and there's a hint of steel laced in her tone. ] -or I shall have Aestus burn you to cinders. You will either appreciate the color red, or perish. Your original trainer would have learned that much.

[ There's a hiss that could only come from a defiant, wild Scyther. After a moment, her footfalls can be heard coming closer and Saber picks up the Gear to address the open feed with an expression that is just brimming with frustration and anger. There's a clear cut on her cheek that drips red and darkens her slightly tattered uniform an even deeper shade as it drops, which might add to her growing ire. That said, she gathers herself with a deep breath, and in the background can be seen a Charizard giving a LVL5 Death Glare to a hissing and spitting Scyther that's held against a corner of the room. ]

Apologies for the interruption. It appears that, upon the dawn of a new year, I have been blessed with a gathering of new Pokemon. [ Pause. ] But be cursed with the disappearance of a companion. I believe that is a sign for me to move on and complete my badge collection. I hear this Clair is the last of Johto's list of Gym Leaders. Does she prove as much of a challenge as her title would suggest? So far, I have been filled with nothing but boredom and disappointment with the ones I have opposed.

[ And then Saber promptly cuts the feed. Those within the Breeding Center lodgings might hear more thumps and bumps going along as Saber tries to restrain Archer's unruly Scyther. If not that, she'd be busy packing a few things before hopping on her Charizard and flying off. ]

I was sorting through Archer's-- [ An uncomfortable pause. Clears her throat. ]

Archer's inventory. I wished to know which one carried his Ditto. Because that insidious bowman is no longer here, I apologize on his behalf.

[ Though when she says that, she still makes it a snap. Her Deino flicks her tongue and at Hayate's hand. Being blind, it recognizes hands and thinks it's Saber's. The Axew rubs his head on Hayate's smoother foot. ]

Ah... I'm sorry, I didn't know your frie.... um... servant, had left. There's no need to apologize then.

*Wow what is going on at his feet this is kind of distracting him!! Like having two cats circles around him... He's never seen one of either of these before, so he's kind of missing the blind part, so he makes yet another hand motion... this time more of a small wave, as if trying to convey "In a moment!" ... though not like that'll get across.

I believe it still needs to be said. It is his Pokemon making most of the noise this morning.

[ HUFFS. Just take it as her, also, indirectly apologizing because wow why would an emperor ever apologize to butlers. The Deino doesn't see the gesture, but feels the motion of air moving around and makes a leap to grab at his fingers with her mouth. Due to just being a mere baby, there's no teeth, but it's an obvious way to try and get his attention. The Axew is rubbing his tusk and sort of scraping that along Hayate's foot now. ]

As long as you weren't wak-- HRK!

*That is the sound of him yanking his hand up away from that bite at the very last second. Since while a comical image, shaking around a tiny looking dinosaur like 'mon attached to his hand doesn't sound fun.*

Are... Are these two always like this? I'm starting to worry for my lower half here...

Mmm? They are mere hatchlings, butler: the whole world and its inhabitants are something they are curious about. My Deino- [ She gestures down to said dragon. ] -is blind in her current stage, so she is forced to discover with her mouth. The Axew one... mmm, I am unfamiliar with that species.

[ That said, Saber is looking slowly amused by how her two babbies are gently heckling the poor butler. Hydra the Deino is taking small jumps on her spot to try and reach Hayate's hand while Caladbolg the Axew finds Hayate's shoe to be a softer material than Saber's golden armored boots. ]

*Glancing to the two, keeping his hands up in a safe distance since even with it being a baby, biting is no good!*

Re... Really now... It's hard to tell sometimes with the initial forms of some species... It doesn't help I've never seen either one of these two before.

*Hayate looks over them, then up to Saber, and makes the wind up:*

If these were actual human children and someone walked in to see them clamoring at me like this, I get the feeling it would be one of those "Ah, what a cute family!" moments...

[ At that image, she gasps. Blushing a bit. She even hits him on the arm. ]

Wha--?! Idiot! Do not say such foolish things! And I am not cute - do not insult my growth as a woman!

*Just gonna wince from that hit, rubbing at it slightly afterward.*

Ahaha... S-Sorry. I didn't mean to call you cute or anything! *Hah.* It's just the kind of visual that sprung to mind. I mean, you're definitely developed! I could never question that!

H-Harrumph! [ Pouting still and her glare ranks up another five. ]

... Even if I wanted to, I would not be fit for family life. For all the talents I could ever own, that would be one that will elude me forever.

... eh? *This isn't a dangerous topic, is it? It almost sounds like one to him.*

I might not get where you're coming from, but I don't think there's a single person out there who it could elude forever if they genuinely wanted one.

Trust my word on this: I would not be able to. To care for a family requires a tender touch that I am not capable of. To love someone with all my passion, that I can do, but for my experiences, well...

[ Pause. Then she suddenly clears her throat again. ]

I-In any case! I will place the Scyther back in its ball and recall my Charizard so that you can repair this room. I have restrained its movements so that it does not do too much to the interior, so the process should not take long.

*Huh... Hayate wants to comment on that with something along the lines of "Sounds like you just need to find yourself a husband who is good with kids!" yet he restrains himself since it sounds like she'd rather not talk about it further.*

Mm... That works. I don't need to do it right away though. I can just give it a once over for now. I'll repair it properly once you've left. You're planning to head off for a badge, right?

Correct, but that errant bug has ruined my presentation. I will have to sit down and mend my dress for a while.

[ A pause. Then... ]

And I have heard that there is to be a meeting for the PGC tomorrow. I will have to stay a little longer to see what that will entail.

Ah... Now that you mention it, it does look like it suffered from some battle damage.

Certainly not as a team... I'm more the solo hero type rather than the RPG party type. Mostly since I operate better that way... I don't really fight with others that often unless I know they can keep up with me or if I trust them.
