[ The feed opens up to the Gear bouncing along the ground. It slides to a stop, but from off the screen are the telltale sounds of a rambunctious Pokemon about, as well as a frustrated Saber sighing. Not long after, two Pokemon trod along the feed: ]

[ The Axew tilts his head and rubs as his tusks while the Deino chomps on air. Suddenly, there's a sound of clothing being ripped and a brief roar of flame soon follows. ]

You will learn discipline, bug- [ Saber's voice is nothing short of threatening, and there's a hint of steel laced in her tone. ] -or I shall have Aestus burn you to cinders. You will either appreciate the color red, or perish. Your original trainer would have learned that much.

[ There's a hiss that could only come from a defiant, wild Scyther. After a moment, her footfalls can be heard coming closer and Saber picks up the Gear to address the open feed with an expression that is just brimming with frustration and anger. There's a clear cut on her cheek that drips red and darkens her slightly tattered uniform an even deeper shade as it drops, which might add to her growing ire. That said, she gathers herself with a deep breath, and in the background can be seen a Charizard giving a LVL5 Death Glare to a hissing and spitting Scyther that's held against a corner of the room. ]

Apologies for the interruption. It appears that, upon the dawn of a new year, I have been blessed with a gathering of new Pokemon. [ Pause. ] But be cursed with the disappearance of a companion. I believe that is a sign for me to move on and complete my badge collection. I hear this Clair is the last of Johto's list of Gym Leaders. Does she prove as much of a challenge as her title would suggest? So far, I have been filled with nothing but boredom and disappointment with the ones I have opposed.

[ And then Saber promptly cuts the feed. Those within the Breeding Center lodgings might hear more thumps and bumps going along as Saber tries to restrain Archer's unruly Scyther. If not that, she'd be busy packing a few things before hopping on her Charizard and flying off. ]

When would you like me to arrive as a model? I would like to first get my last Johto badge before visiting you. More importantly, where are you?

Hmph. I only named him so because Archer mentioned the fabled sword several times. It is a tribute to his memory.

[ Arturia hasn't heard the rest of Saber's Pokemon names yet. What's wrong with the one she chose for these two? She tilts her head at her words. ]

Shopping for what?

Clothes.

[ She's going on a shopping trip without you, twinny. ] If I am to tame that Scyther for you... Well, no matter.

You spoke a lot with Archer?

At any moment he was willing to divulge information about himself, yes. I was amused to find he had ties to that Emiya Shirou boy.

[ And by "amused" she means she laughed in his face and congratulated him on growing a brain. Meanwhile, Caladbolg is going to mosey between Arturia's legs and rubbing his head against her shoes while Hydra rolls on her back. ]

And I wished to confirm the events that happened between our Master. In one parallel, he is the Servant to my Master, instead of me. Even without him recalling his account, his words confirmed my own victory.

Ah, so you know of his true identity.

[ With that, she lowers her gaze to the floor, back to being upset. Seeing how broken up she was over losing Shirou, losing Archer in the same way is only bound to upset her in the same manner. ]

It is strange that he was in your world. I can only remain hopeful that he had no recollection of me, but the way he acted... well, perhaps he was just learning manners.

I believe he knew of you. [ Saber is nothing if not observant, and she wasn't totally blind to some of the nuances both Arturia and Archer seemed to have to each other when they spoke of the one another.

And then... ]

Around Christmas time, I saw him carving a fine blade out of oak. He denied it was for me, nor did he give me an answer on who it was for, but...

[ She watches Arturia's reaction. It was an indirect question of: did you get that or no? ]

He was the one who carved that?

[ She had her suspicions, but nothing really confirmed. The Pokemon near to her might notice her drawing in closer towards them in order to shield herself. ]

I see. I should have known, but I did not think he would spare the time.

[ Seeing her move closer, Caladbolg interprets that as wanting hug times so he's now... trying to clamber onto Arturia's lap. Hydra doesn't notice due to being blind. ]

Ah, so my intuition was right on that. Something significant between you two?

We were enemy Servants.

[ That's the easiest way to describe it as her lap feels crushed by the Pokemon. Hug times is fine by her so long as it looks like the Pokemon is initiating it. ]

We fought against each other in the Fifth Holy Grail War.

H'oh? What an interesting twist to this tale; he never mentioned that fact save for how the War we participated differentiated from the one that once existed in the real world.

[ She gives a bemused look as she settles onto one of the beds in the room. ]

For all your interactions that I have witnessed in this realm, being enemies was far from what you two were portraying.

I treat every man and woman from the Holy Grail War in the same manner. Most of the Masters in this realm were my enemy at one point, but I am kind towards them.

[ Her hold on the Axew is just going to be a bit more firm. ] For I believe without the war, they may have acted differently.

Servants are the same.

[ Caladbolg moves to rub the smooth part of his head under Arturia's chin and is mindful of his tusks. Trainer also smells different! ]

Is that all?

[ She sounds bored when she asks this. ]

I suppose it does no harm now that he is gone.

[ Taking in a deep breath as she rests her head on his. ] I treat him as I do my Master.

[ She arches a brow. ]

With care and love?

[ Because Saber totally acted the same with her own Master, but come on, Arturia - she's not a mind reader. Caladbolg just sits contented in Arturia's hold. ]

Wha-?!

[ That startles her enough to stare up at the other Saber in horror. ]

No! Nothing of that sort!

[ And then she looks displeased. ]

Hmm. So you didn't care for your Master?

[ Wow, you are so easy, twinny. ]

Of course I cared for my Master, but not in the way you are implying!

[ Axew pal, please hide her blushing face. ]

[ Caladbolg just blinks in his spot as Arturia moves her face behind his body. Saber herself is just smirking at this display. ]

Then why hide your face? If you speak the truth, you should have no fear in admitting such.

Shirou was in love with another by the name of Rin. [ She explains easily. ] I was just his Servant.

Archer... Archer I believe thought of me more than Shirou ever did.

[ Rin. Oh, Rin. How you got around through parallel universes... ]

You do not seem pleased by that fact.

Would it not bother you to be thought of more by your enemy than your Master? Besides, it does not bother me as much as you think. They are both gone, so there is no point in dwelling on it.

[ The thing is, Nero wouldn't really mind if more attention was put on her, so... ]

And yet there is always a chance they will return. [ Just a note, but Saber will recognize an end to a conversation like that. Not that she'll forget this anytime soon. ]

Where do you keep your first aid kits?

In the closet down the hall. The one that stores the linens as well.

[ With a frown, she looks back up towards her. ] Will you be well enough to travel?

Of course; 'tis but a scratch, after all. [ Despite it being an inch or two long on her face and only moderately shallow. Then she gives her twin a pointed look. ]

I should return to Kanto soon enough, but I rather wait until the rest of the PGC has flown out so it is less suspicious. Since the weather is warming up slightly, it makes sense for people to leave here.

[ Nope, not one bit. ] It is a large scratch.

Kuh... [ Saber presses her hand to her cheek and bites back a wince. Well. Now it's starting to hurt, but she shakes her head. ]

Pay it not mind. What of the PGC, by the way? I was so wrapped up in the holiday festivities, I am not up to speed on why so many of them gathered here.
