[ The feed opens up to the Gear bouncing along the ground. It slides to a stop, but from off the screen are the telltale sounds of a rambunctious Pokemon about, as well as a frustrated Saber sighing. Not long after, two Pokemon trod along the feed: ]

[ The Axew tilts his head and rubs as his tusks while the Deino chomps on air. Suddenly, there's a sound of clothing being ripped and a brief roar of flame soon follows. ]

You will learn discipline, bug- [ Saber's voice is nothing short of threatening, and there's a hint of steel laced in her tone. ] -or I shall have Aestus burn you to cinders. You will either appreciate the color red, or perish. Your original trainer would have learned that much.

[ There's a hiss that could only come from a defiant, wild Scyther. After a moment, her footfalls can be heard coming closer and Saber picks up the Gear to address the open feed with an expression that is just brimming with frustration and anger. There's a clear cut on her cheek that drips red and darkens her slightly tattered uniform an even deeper shade as it drops, which might add to her growing ire. That said, she gathers herself with a deep breath, and in the background can be seen a Charizard giving a LVL5 Death Glare to a hissing and spitting Scyther that's held against a corner of the room. ]

Apologies for the interruption. It appears that, upon the dawn of a new year, I have been blessed with a gathering of new Pokemon. [ Pause. ] But be cursed with the disappearance of a companion. I believe that is a sign for me to move on and complete my badge collection. I hear this Clair is the last of Johto's list of Gym Leaders. Does she prove as much of a challenge as her title would suggest? So far, I have been filled with nothing but boredom and disappointment with the ones I have opposed.

[ And then Saber promptly cuts the feed. Those within the Breeding Center lodgings might hear more thumps and bumps going along as Saber tries to restrain Archer's unruly Scyther. If not that, she'd be busy packing a few things before hopping on her Charizard and flying off. ]

How did it happen, anyway? That Scyther? It looked rather horrible.

A rather poorly made prank sent to the original owner of that Scyther. [ She sniffs in irritation at that. ]

My companion from before also had a penchant for wearing red, and the beast does not - as you can see - take kindly to the color that I bear.

A prank?! That creature could've seriously hurt you!

[[HOW OUTRAGEOUS!! Doesn't your silly companion know that proper pranks are ones like scribbling all over important police forms and kicking down people's doors?

[ She waves a hand to try and dispel Emmy's current train of thought right away. ]

Archer was not responsible for receiving the Scyther; someone else did. [ Pause. ] And on that note, considering that it has laid a mark on my person, I shall have to punish the hero of Ireland for such a childish move.

Correct. What was she like? Did she present a challenge to you at all, Emmy?

[ Saber places her head in her hand while she leans a bit to relax. And no, is not placing her hand against the cheek that's marked, thank you. ]

She was rather tough, but nothing too complicated; I left her badge a little late, so my Pokemon were all far stronger than hers, so it was a bit of a sweep. I'd definitely go in armed with either a strong Ice or Dragon-type, particularly the former.

[[Let her just scratch the back of her head awkwardly for a sec, there.]]

Ah, what am I talking about? You won the tournament, Nero, you've got nothing to worry about!

[[....is it obvious that she's kind of in awe of that because w-wow]]

[ At that, she lets out a laugh, thoroughly pleased and her chest puffs up a little in pride. ]

Oh, you watched me perform, did you? It is the main reason I asked: if it is to be my last Gym battle for Johto, I would rather it be a spectacle than a bore.

Of course! You were battling against a very close friend of mine; don't worry, I wasn't cheering for him too strongly~!

[[It was one of those excellent matches where you don't mind who wins, really! Besides, Mr Kimblee is a good sport.]]

I'm almost tempted to travel to Blackthorn with you so I can spectate!

[ Curious. Then that smile quickly comes back on. ]

Ah, Mr Kimblee! He was the very first person I ever met here in Johto, and we've been firm friends since! It was such a ferocious battle; you managed to hold your own against him, and he fights rather hard!
