[ The feed clicks on to show a Pidgey staring down at the Gear, tilting his head this way and that like any curious bird would do. Then there's a screech and an Altaria's head also pops into the view, and they're tilting their heads, chirping, and the Pidgey gives a tentative peck at the Gear before the Altaria bends its long neck to pick up the Gear- ]

--What are you two doing? Zephyr, hand that to me. Avion, do not be a mischievous little fowl, or I will send you back into your ball.

[ There are two screeches before the Gear is thrown at the voice. Caught swiftly in hand, the feed then turns to face a slightly irritated Saber/Nero who shakes her hand and places the Gear in a more proper position to watch her. There's a long, wooden object resting upon her lap, with Gladius the Scyther standing obediently by her bed. Judging by the small, wooden bits scattered around her, it looks like she's further tuning the makeshift "weapon," making sure the edges were heavily blunted and not too jagged enough, but still carrying a discernible shape. There are also three eggs of various colors placed upon her bed beside her. ]

Then again... Ah, yes, I did have a query. I am aware that there are several of those who have- had powers, extraordinary abilities back in their worlds. I was no exception, and it vexes me greatly, but even as a human, I was glorious enough.

[ But enough about that tangent- ] I am curious about where it all just... goes. And how? Surely there are some powers people had that were useful and not so harmful. [ As she talks, her eyes drift down to the wooden weapon in her hands for a moment. ] And for those who have stayed here for an interminable amount of time in this world... Do you not miss it?

You'll have to learn how to ignore it! I'm sure you can come up with ways to fight against the pokemon hand to hand, or find someone to make you whatever weapon you used to wield back home.

As for the latter part, there's an upper limit of sorts and, I hear there might be a way to cast a limit and downgrade everyone else's levels to the same level if you were to fight in a battle, but I'm not too sure about that~!

Hah! I cannot trust another's skills to forge the weapon that personifies the pinnacle of my glory and talent. As you can see, I have already taken the matter into my own hands. [ Literally. She holds up the wooden longsword. ]

If you were not sure, then I will not take that chance, not when I am still too much of a novice to this world. While it does seem very tempting to take down a giant as the hero David did, better preparation must be made for my Pokemon before I will do so. [ She's great, but she's not that stupid. ]

Hmmm~? So you made that yourself within a week? [ ALL OF THE CLAPPING RIGHT NOW. ] My, my, my, Nero~! That's awfully impressive! That sword sort of reminds me of my own back home~! [ She giggles at the sight of a nicely card sword. ]

Well, the only reason why I'm not sure is because everyone is focused on the badges, not so much battling each other. And I never had an occasion where levels had to be equalized! But I'll try talking to someone more experienced than I am and I'll get back to you it, okaay~?

That's the spirit though! Keep on training and you'll get far!

[ Oh, damn. The clapping does inflate her ego. A lot. It reminds her of the applause she would receive back then. She actually does bow her head, though. ] It is no trouble. This is all too simple for a great artist of my caliber, but it pleases me to note that my work garnishes such favor!

[ She grins appreciatively at the bow. ]

Well, I'm not used to moving so often since much of my life has been spent in the same area but I guess I'm not too bad at surviving or moving around the wilderness. It takes a bit of work though! [ Most of the work is now remembering that humans eat a lot more than Shinigami. Oh. And the dangers of alcohol poisoning. That's another fine one. ]

You're right! I wish more people had faith in themselves! They'd be amazed to know what they can accomplish with just a little self worth!

Well, there are soooome people it can apply to, but I wasn't thinking of anyone specific~! [ Which is true. She never really thought about anyone specific, but she knows a bunch of people that need faith in themselves. It's rather depressing how many people aren't confident. ]

It would be a long, trying journey for someone of that type to find even just a bit. But over time, they will gain more, stacking upon their previous findings until they sit upon a mountain of confidence! It is only through the support of others will they find these treasures.

You know, Nero, you're super super smart! You're totally right! Everyone should be known that they matter and that they're great, and, eventually, they believe what's repeated to them. And then they tell others their self-worth and soon you have a wild fire of confidence! People preforming at their peak! Everything you can possibly imagine!

[ Ahhh, her ego. Her ego is being stroked more! ] As someone who has reached the highest pinnacle of my talent, I would be more familiar with those types than one might realize! It starts with confidence and strengthens with conviction!

What is your talent anyways? [ STROKES THE EGO. ] I bet it must be pretty important anyways! That's completely right too! As a Shinigami, you have to foster growth and confidence to create a true arsenal!

My talents were many! I wrote songs, tales, and crafted with metal and marble! I am even skilled with the sword rode with great expertise upon chariots! Truly, I was so blessed with many talents and so good was I that only the gods could rival me! I was also adept at administrative duties and overseeing the welfare of my country.

Hmm~! I'm just a Shinigami lieutenant and vice leader of an entire division in an army, which means I'm a fantastic swordswoman, but I don't think I'd have the energy to run an entire nation and pursue arts on top of it! What country did you run anyways? I'd love to see some of your work too! [ MORE EGO STROKING Rangiku is certainly impressed. ]

It was a time long ago, but I ruled the empire of Rome as their fifth emperor!

That really was a long time ago! How are you still alive right now? [ She is the grim reaper of her world sort of so seeing a person that's thousands of years old that isn't Yama-jii is a bit odd! ]

In a sense, I am still dead, but through the Moon Cell and the SE.RA.PH., I have been reborn anew!

So you've been reincarnated? [ Oh hey she runs the reincarnation cycle. What do you mean she has a rival business now!? ]

If you wish to put it that way. I have been summoned into a War, where I and my Master are vying for the Holy Grail.

Hm! What a coincidence! A war I was in just finished! I don't know who your Master is, or what the Holy Grail is but good luck getting it! If you actually need the luck, hehe!

Actually, I don't. [ Oops. ] Rome is just such major civilization that knowing the leaders is almost common knowledge. I don't know much about non-Shinigami customs, but I do know some basic things about Rome. I'm sure there are some people back home who lived in Rome too, provided if they've never been reincarnated. [ ...Though, maybe it's for the better that she doesn't know about you guys. After all, it'd lead to the question, "Wait didn't you kill Christians? Then why are you searching for the holy grail?" ]
