--again, Praetor! That is not enough ice.

[ The feed snaps on and swivels just a bit awkwardly, as though the recorder is trying to fit the Gear in its claws before it rights itself. Then the Gear turns and shows one scantily clad Empeor with her back turned, unaware of her Pokemon's scheme for video shenanigans. Standing large, proud, but head bending low to the ground, is Saber's Gyarados Praetor and there appears to be... large chunks of ice collecting before the short blonde.

To those wondering, the answer is quickly shown as Praetor's fangs freeze over with ice before she snaps her jaws several times to have the ice fall to the collection. It seems Saber has been at this for some time as there's quite a collection and a bag in her hand before she nods in approval and begins scooping up the ice in her bag. Remember, folks! She has to bend a bit to do this. ]

Very good, Praetor. This will last me for... hmm, a few minutes. Do not worry, I will treat you for this kindness later on-- [ As she talks, it sounds as though her throat caught up on something, sounding hoarse before she has a brief coughing fit, bursts of flame accompanying the sounds. She makes a frustrated noise, and the Pokemon holding the Gear briefly shakes with an amused chuckle before a delivery bird cries and flies its appearance into the scene.

Once she's recovered, Saber arches a brow while straightening herself and turns to face the Pidgeot. In the bird's talons is a rather... large bouquet of roses. As she takes the bouquet, Saber giggles. ]

Honestly, I must commend this secret admirer of mine: even through these diseases, they find time to send such love my way! Still... [ She takes a moment to give those roses a good whiff, then shake her head. ] Woe is my power, for I cannot hold these for long lest they turn into ash within my hands! Machina!

[ A Metagross lumbers onto the scene and Saber turns to place the bouquet right on top of his metal head with an amused laugh. To its credit, the Metagross doesn't look the slightest perturbed and awaits further orders. ] Place this with the others. I have a matter in which I must address to my audience.

[ The Pokemon holding the Gear jerks in surprise to that revelation. How did she know?! The Metagross goes to do as it's asked as Saber gives a stern look to the camera (and her mischievous Pokemon). ]

Truly, Aestus, if you wished to play around with the Gear, you should have told me! No matter, this will be brief, and I shall place a proper punishment on you later. [ She clears her throat, and small pillars of steam leave the corner of her lips as she does so. ]

Lately, it has come to my attention that there are those of us who are warriors, artisans of the battlefield back in our worlds. Though this realm places an odd restriction on carrying such, the authorities do not mind the crafting of wooden, practice ones. And I do believe with current events, having these extensions of our arms would be quite useful to have. That said, I, Saber, will be starting up a business of crafting these tools for others.

[ Then she gives a very imperial wave and the feed quickly shuts. ]

[ She takes careful note of the description he gives her, her mind committing each detail to memory and trying to piece them together in her head to see the final look. Once she does so, she nods. ]

They sound like beautiful and practical blades. And your offer?

They are the most wonderful weapons I could ask for. They were once the personal weapons of one of the Burning Legion's most powerful demons. My reward for slaying him.

Of course, I shall pay for both blades, doubling your usual fee. And beyond that, I will offer a sum of half again as much, for the extra effort required to craft each weapon properly.

[In his mind, they're worth more than that, even a wooden replica. But in his mind, they're virtually priceless, and as much as he's rather liking this woman, he'd rather not end up to his blindfold in debt to her. Besides, he doesn't even know what her "usual fee" is.]

[ She smiles. She can sense the slight wary suspicion within his voice. Sure, she may have emptied the coffers of Rome, but that was for her citizens' sake! And just like what she did for her citizens, well...

Saber chuckles. ]

Then for this transaction, I will accept five hundred per blade. The extra payment can be waived until after I have crafted these blades and whether or not you deem them satisfactory. What say you to this offer?

[Well that sounds very reasonable. He nods decisively, giving her a smirk in turn.]

Agreed, my lady. Then I am left only with the question of where to meet you when they are finished.

I am currently within Violet City's boundaries, but I have a bird that fly to whatever location you are in to deliver my craft once they are finished.

[ Because the damn badge rules and the lack of an HM to do so... ]

Ah, and to think, I left Violet City not long ago and only recently exited the Union Cave. Had I waited longer we could have had this conversation in person.

No matter, though. I shall transmit the first part of your payment soon, and stay within Azalea to await the arrival of the blades. You have my gratitude.

Such a pity, indeed! Perhaps one day we will cross paths since we are rather close? The process of crafting them should not take long, however. Perhaps a day or two, and Avion is one of the fastest of my arsenal.

It is Illidan Stormrage. A distinct pleasure to make your acquaintance, Saber. Though you've roused my curiosity as to why you share a name with a type of blade.

It is a class I was summoned as, due to my immense skill with wielding blades. There were seven other classes, each named after core abilities a person displayed in their previous lifetimes, such as Rider or Archer. And it was a fitting match for one such as myself to be fitted into one of the most powerful Servant classes back in my realm!

Fascinating. A summoning into a tournament of sorts after your death? The magi who took part in this must have had both great power and a very specific goal in mind... Though I question how a woman of your caliber would have fit into the role of a servant.

Correct, though the magi themselves were not responsible for the summoning. There was a greater, more omniscient force overseeing the Holy Grail War. Their primary concerns were surviving through the tournament, and providing us with mana to continue keeping our physical form... Hm? What about that makes you so curious?

Omniscient? A God? [Now that is very interesting. Illidan may not be the type to worship Gods, but he definitely wants to know what they're up to.]

I mean only that you seem more like the type to deliver commands than to obey them. Like myself.

Hah! That would be one way to interpret the Moon Cell. Though it lies above the Earth, for time immemorial it has watched and kept record of what went on in our world. Think of it as a massive cache of information and power-- it knows what has happened, and the possibilities of what could happen. That is why it constructed the War I was previously summoned in: it wanted a Master worthy of accessing its contents, and my Master was just on the precipice of victory thanks to my talents.

You would be correct, but I have always subjugated myself before beauty, and the effort and drive my Master put into surviving our War is one of the many things I consider such to be. It is a tenet I followed well in my previous life. Lead over your own life before you are fit to lead others.

Fascinating. My own people worship the moon as the Goddess Elune, who is said to watch over and protect those who call upon Her, yet your description seems more to match that of the great Bronze Dragon Aspect Nozdormu, the Timeless One, who watches over the timelines and has the power to shift through time itself to keep them safe. And to think, the one you served was about to reach such power... a glorious destiny. Your Master must be a truly great and fearsome Mage.

I see. An interesting philosophy. I have been largely too busy with keeping myself and my followers alive to develop something similar, unfortunately.

[ Saber was very intrigued by the bits of his culture he was showing to her... until that last part. She actually chuckles once more. ] You would be quite surprised, Illidan! My Master was no more than a mere commoner, you could say. Why, she was so inexperienced as a magus that, upon my summoning, most of my abilities were locked on the outset due to the inadequacy of her initial magic circuits! [ Beat. ] But is that not a more thrilling tale? A commoner rising against the mighty?

[ Y u p. ]

And that is nothing to be ashamed of. It is our citizens that support us, and it is our duty as leaders to guide them in turn.

A commoner, hmmm? [He chuckles.] So was I, once. Nothing to my name but ambition and talent. It didn't stop me from thwarting a demonic invasion. If the girl learned in the fires of battle, then I can say she had no better teacher.

Indeed. And with my forces beset by enemies on all sides, well... the life of exiles is not for the faint-hearted.

Indeed! Ambition and talent are the fires that spark our path to greatness, Illidan. It does my heart good to know someone knows this experience as well as I do.

You and your troop lead a wanderer's lifestyle? Treacherous, but that opens up to many opportunities for excitement!

Excitement is something we've had plenty of. Some might say too much. Still, we've survived this long, and in my world, that's saying something. Neither Azeroth nor Outland is a welcoming place.

I have not heard of these lands. Is it a world that praises the strong, and destroys the foolish?

That would be the simplest way to put it. Taking an action without thinking it through properly may be the last thing you do there.

[Because despite what his detractors may have you think, Illidan always thinks things through. He just tends to do crazy crap anyway.]

So harsh, yet it is a truth many worlds seem to keep a constant. Perhaps it is the universes' way of culling the unneeded? Or those who do not produce anything of worth.

One of the law of my land was that anyone who called themselves a citizen under her name was to uphold a sense of "civic duty." Whatever you do, you do for the cause of another, or to better your nation or be scorned for giving her shame.

Or simply stupidity, awful luck, or a combination of the two.

Interesting... though I long ago lost citizenship of my homeland, it would not be a poor idea to direct those who have settled with me in Outland in a similar fashion. Certainly, if we are going to be something aside from an army of exiles, we could all use a little... betterment.

It takes only a handful to start a nation, and from there, the numbers may grow. I do not see why your band cannot uphold a slight bit of order to bolster your status.
